This record-setting drawing follows a recent $90 million Mega Millions win on December 2 by one fortunate player.

How to Play Powerball

Tickets cost $2 and are available at convenience stores, gas stations, grocery stores, and select online platforms in some states. Players choose six numbers: five white balls ranging from 1 to 69 and one red Powerball from 1 to 26. For an additional $1, the Power Play option can increase non-jackpot prizes by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, or 10X.
