Former Warner Bros VP Kirk Stambler Joins Sacker Entertainment Law; Firm Opens Office in New York City

While headlines today are dominated by Netflix's proposed $82 billion acquisition of Warner Bros' major assets, a different story is unfolding at Sacker Entertainment Law, where industry veterans are reuniting to strengthen their team.

Nearly four years after founding the firm, former Warner Bros Senior Theatrical Counsel Neil Sacker, alongside ex-Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher associate Andy Tan, has welcomed Kirk Stambler to the practice. Stambler, previously Vice President of Special Projects, Business, and Acquisitions at Warner Bros, will lead the newly formed corporate entertainment deals division at Sacker Entertainment Law.

In conjunction with this expansion, the firm is launching a New York City office, which Stambler will oversee. Most traditional law firms ask clients to adjust their operations to fit rigid frameworks, Sacker explained. We take the opposite approach. Our services are fully tailored to each clients unique business objectives.

He added, Every engagement is designed around the clientfrom legal service structures and fees to strategic guidanceensuring we partner with them in growing their business rather than just providing legal advice.

Stambler expressed enthusiasm about joining the firm, saying, Neil and I have known each other for years, starting at Paul Weiss and later at Warner Bros. Im excited to contribute to the firms growth and help expand its offerings for larger entertainment deals.

In addition to his legal work, Stambler is involved in production projects, including a Jimi Hendrix documentary titled Are You Experienced with WildBear Entertainment and AJ Eaton, as well as a yet-to-be-named Alice Waters documentary.

Since its inception in early 2022, Sacker Entertainment Law has grown from the original duo to a team of eight attorneys, with plans for further expansion on both coasts.
