Kat's Selfish Business Stand [Recap]

Sharon and Tracy reunite with Anita for WinterFest, arriving eager to see how preparations are shaping up. Sharon jokes about Anita hiding her handsome husband, and the group chats about their inclusion in the silent auction lineup for a lunch date with the winning bidder. Anita asks about their recent meeting with Devon Winters in Genoa City, noting his commitment to continuing his fathers legacy at the record label. Sharon says they were treated exceptionally well.

As Sharon wanders toward a photo of Vernon and Anita, Tracy mentions Anitas recent distracted behavior, teasing that she may be secretly seeing someone. Anita then shows them the WinterFest program featuring Barbara on the cover. The women are thrilled that event proceeds will benefit musicians struggling with mental health challenges. Anita also reveals that Leslie Thomas is Barbaras long-lost daughter, prompting Tracy to realize that the blind trust Anita once created is now financing Leslies lifestyle. Sharon goes to grab her phone for a selfie just as Vernon arrives, quietly asking if they are alonesoon learning they are not.

Ted Calls Out Tomas for His Romantic Missteps

At the club, Tomas encounters Ted, and their small talk shifts when Ted bluntly points out Tomas involvement with both his daughters. Tomas insists he never meant to hurt anyone and is grateful Kat gave him another chance. Ted warns that his daughters already clash, and Tomas shouldnt make things worse.

Ted Escorts Eva to Her First WinterFest

Leslie visits Eva, who is worried about looking unprepared for her big debut. Leslie reassures her, bringing a dress and helping her get ready. Eva is moved, especially as Leslie expresses pride in watching her daughter step into the social elite, promising they will no longer stand on the outside.

Once dressed, Eva discusses Samanthas idea for a free healthcare clinic and expresses her desire to launch a nonprofit similar to the Duprees. Leslie is thrilled and wants her name featured prominently. Ted arrives, praises Evas beauty, and gifts her a Forrester Creations scarf. Eva gathers a large red bag filled with presents, and though Ted invites Leslie to join them, she encourages father and daughter to go alone.

Kat Leans Into Her Selfish Reputation

Nicole spends time with Kat and Naomi as Damone Roberts finishes their looks before heading to WinterFest. Kat brings up another argument with her half-sister Eva and asks whether she herself is self-centered. Naomi reminds her that she and Jacob found no evidence tying Eva to Lauras accident, but Kat remains convinced Eva manipulates everyone. Nicole points out the limited time Eva has had with Ted compared to Kats own experiences, urging her daughter to show empathy. Kat considers skipping WinterFest, prompting Nicole to warn that doing so would validate the very accusation Kat fears.

Later, Tomas meets Kat at Uptown and compliments her appearance as she downs a martini. She admits she wants to avoid the event entirely, frustrated by Evas presence. Tomas reassures her that she isnt selfishjust adjusting to an uncomfortable new reality. Kat ends the conversation, preferring intimacy instead, but Tomas surprises her by asking her to move in with him.

WinterFest Comes Alive

Eva arrives with Ted and is captivated by the lively scene and the rows of donated toys. They joke about her daytime routine before taking a selfie. Ted suggests ice skating, but Eva worries about falling during her social debut. He insists she has nothing to prove, and they head toward the rink.

Anita, Vernon, Sharon and Tracy arrive and admire the elaborate decorations. Sharon and Tracy enjoy being recognized by attendees. Anita checks in with Laura and Mona, telling them they have no responsibilities tonight except to enjoy themselves, and noting Marcels presence to keep watch over Leslie. Jacob, dressed too casually for the occasion, meets up with Naomi, spots Marcel and goes to investigate. Marcel explains he is working private security, and Jacob promises to send any problems his way. Leslie soon enters, and Jacob returns to Naomi, both pleased with their progress in counseling.

Ted and Eva return from skating, and as Ted heads off for hot cocoa, Izaiah appears. Sharon and Vernon slip away while Tracy observes them from a distance. Marcel approaches Leslie, and the two toast with champagne as the celebration continues.
