2026 Critics Choice Awards: Complete list of nominees (live updates)

The 2026 Critics Choice Awards nominees will be announced Friday morning, setting the stage for awards season just ahead of Mondays Golden Globe nominations. Prior to the reveal, One Battle After Another was widely predicted to lead the field according to Gold Derbys odds.

Other films anticipated to contend for Best Picture include Hamnet, Sinners, Sentimental Value, Marty Supreme, Frankenstein, Wicked: For Good, Avatar: Fire and Ash, Bugonia, and It Was Just an Accident.

Last years Critics Choice Awards demonstrated that a high number of nominations does not guarantee multiple wins. Wicked and Conclave both received 11 nominations, yet the top prize ultimately went to Anora. Interestingly, Anora secured only the Best Picture award, while other categories were distributed among various films.

Notable acting winners included Jon M. Chu (Wicked) for Best Director, Demi Moore (The Substance) for Best Actress, and Adrien Brody (The Brutalist) for Best Actor. Other recognized performers who later claimed Oscars were Zoe Saldaa (Emilia Prez) and Kieran Culkin (A Real Pain).

The 31st Critics Choice Awards, hosted by Chelsea Handler, will air live on January 4 on E! and USA Network.
