Gorillaz's 'House of Kong' is Coming to Los Angeles

Following its summer launch in London, Gorillaz is set to recreate the House of Kong exhibition for fans in Los Angeles. The show will run at Rolling Greens DTLA from February 26 to March 19, coinciding with the March 20 release of the bands new album, The Mountain, led by Damon Albarn.

As part of the launch, Gorillaz will perform exclusive concerts at Hollywood Palladium on February 22-23. During these performances, the group will present the entire The Mountain album, featuring unexpected guest appearances. Ticket holders for the exhibition will receive priority access to the concerts, with further details to be announced.

Additionally, Gorillaz will bring live shows to the Copper Box Arena on August 29-30 and September 2-3. Again, exhibition attendees will have the first opportunity to secure tickets. The House of Kong exhibition highlights Gorillazs journey through musical experimentation, creative innovation, and virtual storytelling since their debut in 2000 with Tomorrow Comes Today.

The Mountain features collaborations with a diverse lineup of artists including IDLES Joe Talbot, Sparks, Johnny Marr of The Smiths, Anoushka Shankar, Asha Bhosle, Asha Puthli, Bizarrap, Black Thought of The Roots, Gruff Rhys of Super Furry Animals, Jalen Ngonda, Kara Jackson, Omar Souleyman, Paul Simonon of The Clash, Trueno, and Yasiin Bey. The project also pays tribute to late artists such as Bobby Womack, Dave Jolicoeur of De La Soul, Mark E. Smith of The Fall, Tony Allen, rapper Proof, and actor Dennis Hopper.

Gorillaz will further support The Mountain with a U.K. and Ireland arena tour starting March 21 in Manchester, followed by performances at European festivals over the summer.
