How Kimora Lee Simmons Persuaded Her Children to Return to the Fab Lane.

Kimora Lee Simmons revealed that convincing her daughters Ming, 25, and Aoki, 23, to join her reality series Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane required some extra incentives. The model shared that she had to offer special deals to get them on board, jokingly referring to it as a type of bribe.

The 50-year-old, who also has sons Kenzo, 16, Gary, 15, and Wolfe, 10, through previous relationships and adoption, admitted that the incentives included luxury items such as a sports car and designer clothing suitable for work. "They took full advantage, so it ended up costing more for this production," she said, noting that her daughters earned more than anyone else involved, while she personally worked without pay to cover expenses.

Despite needing some persuasion, Kimora emphasized that her daughters are now enthusiastic about participating in the new series. Both daughters continue to spend significant time at their childhood home. "They travel and have their own places, but they never really completely left," Kimora explained.

The fashion mogul expressed excitement about this new chapter, highlighting that featuring her five childrenand occasionally their friendsbrings fresh energy and perspectives to the show. The original series aired from 2007 to 2011, and now Kimora sees it as an opportunity to showcase her evolving family life and career changes. "I've shifted careers, experienced different relationships, and learned a lot along the way. Life keeps moving," she remarked.

Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on E!.
