Jon Stewart Criticizes Donald Trump for Outlandish Claim About His MRI

On Monday, Daily Show host Jon Stewart expressed skepticism over President Donald Trump's statement that he had no idea which part of his body was scanned during an MRI in October. Stewart insisted, Its physically impossible to be unaware, emphasizing the implausibility of Trumps claim.

Stewart humorously imagined the scenario: Would you really tell the doctor, Dont tell me! I want to find out at my MRI reveal party? He mimicked a celebratory announcement, saying, Oh, its the lymph nodes!

He continued to challenge the former president: When they placed you in the MRI tube for 30 to 45 minutes, didnt you want to know what was happening? Or did you just think, What a loud tanning bed?

Trump had described the MRI results as perfect, even though he claimed ignorance about which areas were scanned. Stewart raised the point: So you didnt know what was examined, but it was a perfect result? Thats how MRIs are scoredeither a big Perfect stamp or See me in red ink.

Trump also mentioned that his brain was not scanned, citing a previously completed cognitive test. Stewart joked, asking, Did you ace it, or was the test simply to know what part of your body was scanned?

The White House later clarified that the imaging covered cardiovascular and abdominal areas as a preventative measure and confirmed that the results were perfectly normal.

Stewarts full commentary can be seen in his Monday night monologue.
