Kim Kardashian reveals Kanye West accused her of staging Paris robbery

Kim Kardashian has shared new details about the traumatic 2016 robbery she experienced in Paris, revealing that her former husband, Kanye West, doubted her account during a court appearance in May.

In a recent episode of The Kardashians, the reality star revisited her trip to Paris earlier this year, when she testified in court regarding the incident. Kim had claimed that nine men and a woman broke into her hotel room at the Hotel de Pourtales during Paris Fashion Week and stole $10 million worth of jewelry.

Recalling the terrifying event, Kim described the intruders as men disguised as police officers wearing masks. She said they demanded her diamond ring and tied her up before leaving with the valuables.

Throughout the episode, Kim discussed the skepticism she faced from various high-profile individuals, including West, to whom she was married from 2014 to 2021. Even my ex-husband had said, Youve faked your robbery for a TV show. And he had said that in front of all these people, Kim shared. That was a knife to my heart. Just to think that someone so close wouldnt believe you it really hurt.

Kim and West married in 2014 after two years of dating and share four children: daughters North, 12, and Chicago, seven, and sons Saint, nine, and Psalm, six. They finalized their divorce in 2021.

Kim added, It just really bothered me. Like, You dont know who I am? So to finally go to trial, hear everyones accounts, and receive apologies I am happy its over.

Her family also reflected on her emotional struggle after the public questioned her story. She felt hurt that so many people didnt believe her, her sister Khlo Kardashian said. Even people nearby were doubting if this really happened, and that was really upsetting.

In May, following the trial, eight individuals were found guilty in connection to the robbery.

The episode also explored Kims ongoing relationship with West, where she admitted to occasional frustration with his behavior. She emphasized that she encourages a healthy relationship but struggles when her parenting and character are questioned due to Wests remarks.

Sometimes I just feel like snapping, but I cant. I just cant, she said. Kim explained that her priority is shielding their children from negative behavior. Theyre gonna grow up and see things eventually. My job as a mom is to protect them when that happens, she noted during the season seven premiere.
