Megadeth Reveals Worldwide ‘Behind The Mask’ Movie Event Before Last Album Release

Fans should clear their schedules, as Megadeth is set to take over cinemas globally with a special event timed just before the release of their last studio album. The cinematic experience, MEGADETH: BEHIND THE MASK, will premiere in over 1,000 theaters across more than 35 countries on January 22, 2026, offering an in-depth look at the bands history alongside an exclusive first listen of their forthcoming self-titled album, which releases the following day.

The film will take audiences through four decades of Megadeths career, with Dave Mustaine sharing untold stories, insights into the bands impact, and a detailed breakdown of every track on the final album.
