Mormon Wives Star Reveals Hidden Lives Following DUI Arrest

Chase McWhorter, former spouse of Miranda McWhorter from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, recently spoke out about his arrest in July 2025 on charges of driving under the influence (DUI) and cocaine possession. In a social media post, he expressed regret and publicly apologized for his actions.

McWhorter shared a candid video on Thursday, addressing the situation head-on. "Im here to confront the obvious," he began in the TikTok video. "I dont have a publicist, so this is going to be unfiltered." He continued, acknowledging that the reports regarding his July 4th arrest were accurate. "I was pulled over for driving under the influence after consuming substances I shouldnt have, which led to a reckless and selfish decision to get behind the wheel," McWhorter admitted.

The reality star detailed the series of events leading up to the arrest, mentioning a confrontation at a party that caused him to leave. Despite the short distance to his home, McWhorter opted to drive, admitting in hindsight that using an Uber would have been the wiser choice. "That kind of decision is what results in fatalities every day," he reflected, acknowledging the gravity of his actions.

McWhorter expressed deep regret, calling the incident a personal low. "It was a humiliating experience to be pulled over and arrested," he confessed. "This situation is a sign of an internal issue I need to address, and its not a reflection of my upbringing, as my parents raised me better than this." He also expressed sorrow for disappointing his co-parent, Miranda McWhorter, and vowed to face the legal consequences. "Im dealing with the situation with my attorney and will accept the consequences of my foolish decisions," he said.

Furthermore, McWhorter took a moment to acknowledge the professionalism of the officers who arrested him. He apologized to everyone affected by his actions, especially those who were put in danger. According to reports, McWhorter faces three misdemeanor charges: possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence, and driving with a suspended or revoked license. His bail has been set at $2,500.
