Fans of Brandon Lake's "When a Cowboy Prays" have long wanted to hear a version of the song with Cody Johnson, and now their wish is becoming a reality. On Thursday, Cody posted a photo on his Instagram Story from the studio, with the song's lyrics visible on a music stand. Some of the lines were marked with Codys name, confirming his involvement in the recording.

Miranda Lambert is set to perform at the 2026 Music City Rodeo, happening in Nashville from May 28-30. Each night will conclude with a live performance: Miranda takes the stage on May 28, followed by Charley Crockett on May 29, and Jon Pardi will close the event on May 30.

The 25th anniversary of the legendary soundtrack for O Brother, Where Art Thou? will be celebrated at the Grand Ole Opry on February 28. The event will feature performances by artists who contributed to the original album, though they have yet to be revealed. Additionally, a special vinyl edition of the album will be released on February 20. O Brother, Where Art Thou?, which won several prestigious awards including Grammy, CMA, and ACM Album of the Year, topped the Billboard 200 chart and has sold over 8 million copies. The soundtrack, featuring artists like Alison Krauss, Emmylou Harris, Gillian Welch, The Whites, and the late Ralph Stanley, is credited with sparking a roots music revival in the United States.
