Roman Reigns Admits Another Wrestler is Superior to Him

For years, Roman Reigns has sought recognition from the WWE Universe. This week, the situation reversed. While signing autographs with Fanatics, a WWE partner, Reigns was asked to pause whenever a wrestler superior to him was mentioned.

Mentioned names like Bronson Reed, Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, LA Knight, Drew McIntyre, and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes did not faze The Tribal Chief. However, when The Nature Boy Ric Flairs name came up, Reigns respectfully lifted his marker in acknowledgment.

Ric Flair, a 16-time world champion in WWE, responded to Reigns gesture, describing it as a tremendous honor. On X, Flair wrote, Thank You For The Respect @WWERomanReigns! This Has To Be The Biggest Compliment Ive Received In Years.

After nearly five decades in the wrestling world, Flair retired from in-ring action in 2022. He holds two WWE Hall of Fame inductions: one as an individual in 2008, and another as a member of the Four Horsemen in 2012. Reigns, with a 1,316-day championship reign, remains the longest-reigning world champion in WWEs modern history.

Reigns recently competed at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames, teaming with Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso, only to fall against Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, and Brock Lesnar. His next steps are currently unknown, though he has expressed interest in pursuing another world title.
