Sabrina Carpenter criticizes 'Evil and Disgusting' White House Video featuring 'Juno' set to ICE Raids

Sabrina Carpenter criticized the White House for what she described as a cruel and appalling use of her track Juno in a social media video depicting ICE agents conducting arrests. The short clip, posted on Monday, showed individuals protesting ICE raids before switching to scenes of agents apprehending people suspected of being undocumented immigrants. The video included a caption quoting Carpenters lyrics: Have you ever tried this one? Bye-bye.

On social media, Carpenter wrote, This video is evil and disgusting. Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda. As of the time of her statement, the video remained on the White Houses X and TikTok accounts.

In response, a White House spokesperson said, Heres a Short n Sweet message for Sabrina Carpenter: we wont apologize for deporting dangerous criminal illegal murderers, rapists, and pedophiles from our country. Anyone who would defend these sick monsters must be stupid, or is it slow?

The choice of Juno was notable because, during Carpenters recent tour, she playfully arrested audience members with pink handcuffs while performing the song. It appears she did not authorize the White House to use the track, but navigating copyright rules on social media could complicate efforts to have the video removed.

This incident mirrors a previous situation involving Olivia Rodrigo, whose song All-American Bitch was similarly used in a Department of Homeland Security video showing ICE actions. Rodrigo publicly condemned the usage, warning against using her music for racist, hateful propaganda, though the video still remains online.
