Meanwhile, Butcher returns, equipped with a virus capable of eliminating all Supes, setting in motion a sequence of events that will irreversibly reshape the world.

New Images Reveal a Dark Finale

Alongside the trailer, Prime Video released the first promotional images for the final season. One image shows Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) amidst the ruins of a Vought building, while another depicts Homelander looming above Earth from orbit as a nuclear explosion occurs below. The visuals suggest that the final season will be even darker than the series has ever been.
