The mention of Morgan came as part of a broader discussion about the fallout from Signalgate, an issue that has stirred anger among MAGA loyalists.
The newsletter included a brief reference to the British journalist in a segment discussing the political uproar over the scandal, stating, "Signalgate remains a jarring issue for the administration. This was a monumental blunder a series of errors that clearly jeopardized U.S. national security. And thats not a partisan view: Many MAGA supporters, including Laura Loomer and Piers Morgan, were outraged at the time," wrote Jack Blanchard and Dasha Burns, both of whom are British journalists.
Morgan, who has a long history with former President Donald Trump, quickly rejected the categorization when speaking to Mediaite, emphasizing that he identified as "an old-school, non-woke liberal centrist." He also humorously pointed out that he was politically as far removed from Laura Loomer as possible.
Starting his reply with a series of laughing emojis, Morgan remarked, "I think this will come as shocking news to actual MAGA supporters. I am an old-school, non-woke liberal centrist, as anyone who watches Uncensored knows. And Im as far removed politically from Ms. Loomer as anyone could be. But Donald Trump is a long-time friend, and still is." Morgan reiterated that he did not align himself with any political movement, asserting that he was simply acting on his own terms.
