Timothe Chalamet is taking a break from his busy schedule to spend time with a charming new puppy. On Tuesday, Dec. 2, the actor shared several Instagram photos showing him relaxing on a couch while cuddling the small brown dog. The post was captioned, "puppy MARTY SUPREME CHRISTMAS DAY."

In the photos, Chalamet wears a black T-shirt and sports a buzz cut. The puppys name and breed have not been revealed, leaving fans curious whether it is a new pet or a temporary companion during his press tour for Marty Supreme.

The Instagram post also offers a peek into Chalamets personal life and his press tour activities. One image shows him in Christmas pajamas, while another captures him outdoors wearing a pink hat, white tank top, and sunglasses. In one screenshot, Chalamet exchanges texts with his mother, promising to get her a coveted Marty Supreme jacket ahead of the film's release.

Chalamet plays the lead role in Josh Safdies upcoming movie Marty Supreme. The story follows a young man determined to succeed in the unconventional world of ping-pong, inspired by the life of Jewish American table tennis player Marty Reisman.

Speaking about the role, Chalamet told The Hollywood Reporter in October, In spirit, this is the most who I was that I've had to play a role. This is who I was before I had a career. He revealed that he trained in ping-pong for years in secret, even while preparing for other projects such as playing Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown in 2024. Chalamet practiced on tables in London, Budapest, Jordan, Abu Dhabi, and even at the Cannes Film Festival.

Marty Supreme is scheduled to hit theaters on December 25.
