During her Radical Optimism World Tour, Dua Lipa embraced a bold musical challenge: performing iconic songs in the local languages of the countries she visited. The Latin American segment started in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on November 7, while the Spain leg began in Madrid in May.

In an October interview, Dua Lipa shared that she had already performed 57 distinct covers by that time. Reflecting on the idea, she said, What if every night we sang a different song? Her bassist Matty Carroll explained how the concept quickly evolved after initial rehearsals, leading to the decision to feature a unique cover each evening.

Speaking about singing in multiple languages, Dua admitted it was challenging: Its nerve-wracking! I was constantly listening to the lyrics and practicing intonations in Spanish, French, German, Dutch, and Czech.
