Sydney Sweeney dons Shrek-inspired lingerie for Thanksgiving festivities

Sydney Sweeney brought her fantasy character to life with a fiery twist during a Shrek-inspired Friendsgiving in the Florida Keys. The Anyone But You star transformed into Dragon from the beloved animated series, sporting a daring lingerie-inspired costume for the occasion.

Her ensemble featured a red two-toned leotard with a plunging neckline, intricate scale designs, a pointed tail, and dramatic wings. She completed the look with matching gloves, a horned headpiece, and over-the-knee metallic socks paired with black pumps. Partygoers embraced the theme as well, dressing as Shrek, Princess Fiona, Lord Farquaad, and Donkey. Sydney shared several moments with the person dressed as Donkey, reflecting her character's connection to him in the Shrek universe.

The 28-year-old actress's celebration included more than just costumes. Friendsgiving activities ranged from group karaoke and nighttime visits to Disneyworld to a spelling bee and bike rides, among other fun events.

Although Sydney has recently been linked to Scooter Braun, she has clarified that she remains single after ending her seven-year engagement with Jonathan Davino earlier this year. In a November interview with GQ, she stated, "I don't think I'm looking for a man right now. This year has shown me how strong I am and how much I value my friends. Im independent and Ill be okay."

That said, Sydney remains open to love in the future. She added, "If love finds me, love finds me. Im a hopeless romantic and believe in true love for life, but Im not constantly searching or going out for it. I want something meaningful."

Sydney and Jonathan first drew attention as a couple in 2018 at various industry events, including the Hulu Emmy Party and InStyle/Kate Spade dinner. Their relationship included trips to New York Knicks games, flea markets, the Cannes Film Festival, Venice Film Festival, and romantic dinners in Paris. They also collaborated professionally on Anyone But You and Immaculate, with Sydney highlighting how rewarding it was to work with someone who understood and supported her vision.

After years together, the couple called off their engagement in March 2025. Around that time, Sydney was also spotted at a wedding in Texas with Glen Powell, though his family emphasized that they were only friends.
