Charlie Kirk ranks first on Wikipedia's list of most-read articles in 2025 - with Trump and Mamdani also in the top 10

Charlie Kirks Wikipedia entry became the platforms most-viewed page in 2025, topping the list with more than 45 million reads. Interest in the Turning Point USA founder surged following his assassination on September 10, with 15 million views recorded the following day alone. According to data from the Wikimedia Foundation, 40 percent of traffic to the page originated outside the United States.

Donald Trumps profile ranked fourth, attracting 25.1 million readers, while New York City mayor-elect Zohran Mamdanis page earned 20.1 million views.

The general Deaths in 2025 page secured the second position with 42.5 million visits. This entry, updated daily by a broad network of editors, has never fallen below third place since viewership tracking began. Several high-profile deaths also drove attention throughout the year, including those of Ozzy Osbourne, Pope Francis, and Charlie Kirk. Pope Leo XIV, the current head of the Catholic Church, also appeared on the list.

Unexpectedly, Ed Gein the 1950s serial killer claimed third place with 31.2 million views. The spike in interest was largely fueled by Netflixs Monsters series, which dramatized his crimes and featured Charlie Hunnam in the lead role.

Film and television entries dominated seven positions on the list. The horror movie Sinners landed in eighth place, outperforming titles such as Superman, Severance, Weapons, Adolescence, Thunderbolts, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Elon Musk climbed to sixth place after drawing heightened attention through his high-visibility White House appearances and his troubled leadership of the now-disbanded Department of Government Efficiency. These events drove his profile to surpass 20 million views.

Rounding out the bottom of the top rankings were Cristiano Ronaldo, whose page drew 10.8 million views, and YouTuber MrBeast, whose profile accumulated 11.4 million reads.
