Newsom mocks Trump for ‘perfectly normal’ MRI results

California Governor Gavin Newsoms office playfully ridiculed President Trumps recent MRI results on Monday by releasing a tongue-in-cheek memo allegedly from Dr. Dolittle about the governors own health.

The humorous memo, addressed to The Media and credited to the Physician to the Governor from the California Department of Peak Excellence, claimed that advanced scans had examined Newsoms cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and neurological systems.

Im happy to confirm that the Governors health goes far beyond being merely normal, the memo read. Governor Newsom is currently the healthiest person alive and possibly in recorded history.

The memo jokingly described Newsoms arteries as shimmering and noted that his resting heart rate was so calm the EKG machine reportedly asked if he was meditating or naturally enlightened. A radiologist even allegedly questioned whether a redwood had been scanned by mistake.

It also took a subtle jab at Trumps health announcement, stating: While we generally do not comment on the health of other officials, we are aware of the White Houses release claiming President Trump is in excellent health. The memo emphasized that Newsom works full days without needing rest breaks, does not take executive time to relax, and can stand upright without appearing like the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

The satirical letter concluded by asserting Newsom as the healthiest person alive and ever to live, signed in cursive as Dr. This Is A Joke.

This playful mockery came shortly after President Trump had a public disagreement with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, during which Trump reportedly used a slur. Walz had requested Trumps MRI results, and the president later said they could be released. A White House statement described Trumps October physical as perfectly normal.

The release followed scrutiny of Trumps health after images showed swollen legs and bruised hands. The White House explained that he has chronic venous insufficiency, a condition where leg veins struggle to return blood to the heart, and attributed hand bruising to frequent handshakes.
