December 6 A United States judge has issued a temporary restriction preventing prosecutors from using evidence provided by a significant individual in the now-dismissed criminal case involving former FBI Director James Comey, according to official court records.
The evidence in question comes from Daniel Richman, a law professor and former attorney for Comey, and it is considered likely to play a crucial role should prosecutors attempt to reopen the case against him.
