Fantasy Football Week 13 Stock Update: Jakobi Meyers emerges as top receiver for Jaguars, Rico Dowdle returns to shared workload

With nearly all Week 13 matchups concluded, new insights have emerged about player performances, surprising outcomes, and fantasy implications. Heres a fresh breakdown of notable risers and fallers from the week.

Rising Stars

Bucky Irving: Returning from an eight-week absence, Irving totaled 15.1 fantasy points with 81 yards on 19 touches and a rushing touchdown. He has scored double-digit points in all five games he has played this season. With favorable upcoming matchups, he is reestablishing himself as a reliable RB1 option and a potential league-changer for those who have waited on him.

Kyle Monangai & DAndre Swift: The Bears backfield has been dominant recently. On Black Friday, Monangai and Swift combined for 255 yards and two touchdowns on 40 carries against the Eagles. Monangais role as the goal-line back makes him a must-roster and a startable flex in standard leagues.

Quinshon Judkins: After a shaky stretch, the rookie has now posted 14+ fantasy points in consecutive games, totaling 156 scrimmage yards, two touchdowns, and a two-point conversion. With upcoming matchups against the Titans, Bears, and Bills, Judkins could rank among the top-10 fantasy backs and carry teams through the playoffs.

Jakobi Meyers: Despite Jacksonvilles offensive struggles, Meyers has become the teams most consistent receiver. Hes recorded six targets in three consecutive games, 50+ yards in three straight, and back-to-back touchdowns. With other receivers injured or underperforming, Meyers offers a solid WR3 floor and valuable upcoming matchups.

A.J. Brown: Over the past three weeks, Brown has seen 33 targets, catching 25 for 291 yards and three touchdowns. He scored 21 points in Week 12 and 30.2 in Week 13. Even with a tougher matchup ahead, Brown remains a high-end WR1 with favorable games to follow.

Chris Godwin: Godwin has shown flashes post-injury, with three catches for 78 yards on Sunday, including long gains over 20 yards each. He dropped a potential touchdown, indicating his ceiling is still high. With Emeka Egbuka declining, Godwin could reclaim Tampa Bays WR1 role in December.

Kyle Pitts Sr.: Pitts continues to be inconsistent but has now logged multiple games with eight or more targets. With matchups like Seattle ahead, he remains a viable TE option, particularly as a streamer.

Brenton Strange: Strange has topped 40+ receiving yards in five of six games this season and scored his first touchdown against the Titans. Returning from injury, hes reestablishing a connection with Trevor Lawrence and could emerge as a TE1 option against upcoming Colts matchups.

Falling Stocks

Isiah Pacheco: After returning from injury, Pacheco managed only 33 yards on five touches against the Cowboys. He hasnt surpassed 12 fantasy points this season and functions mainly as a change-of-pace back. Dropping him is recommended unless rostered in deep leagues.

Saquon Barkley: Barkley has struggled with single-digit fantasy outputs in three consecutive games. Inconsistent touches and efficiency make him difficult to trust as an RB1, with Judkins emerging as a preferable option in the short term.

Rico Dowdle: Carolinas backfield has reverted to a committee approach with Chuba Hubbard returning. Dowdle remains startable but is no longer a borderline star, as touches and production are shared.

Ricky Pearsall: Pearsall has recorded minimal production over three games post-injury. Hes not recommended in shallower leagues and should only be stashed cautiously in deeper formats.

Emeka Egbuka: Egbukas production has dropped significantly, averaging just 7.7 points over the past eight weeks. With Godwin returning, his volume may decrease further, making him largely benchable.

Max Brosmer: Brosmer failed to address issues in Justin Jeffersons receiving game, finishing with just two catches for four yards. He is not a viable WR1 or WR2, and relying on him carries significant risk.

Jake Ferguson: Ferguson has not reached double-digit fantasy points in his last five games and is overshadowed by George Pickens and CeeDee Lamb. He remains a streamer option rather than a reliable TE1.

Justin Herbert: The QB has struggled recently, falling short of 15 fantasy points in three straight games. Injuries and offensive line issues limit his fantasy viability outside of specific matchups or 2QB leagues.
