Condolences for beloved son following motorway accident

The family of Daniel Conway, 32, from Swindon, has described him as a "beloved son and father" with a "joyful presence" following his death in a motorway crash.

Mr. Conway tragically lost his life when the car he was in left the eastbound carriageway of the M4 near Leigh Delamere at approximately 02:00 GMT on Sunday. Another passenger in the vehicle sustained serious injuries and is receiving treatment in hospital. Authorities confirmed no other vehicles were involved in the incident.

A 29-year-old man from Swindon has been released on bail under certain conditions after being arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He also faces charges for allegedly failing to provide a drink and drug sample.

In a statement, the family expressed their profound grief, saying, "Daniel was deeply cherished as a son and father, and as a friend to many. His positive outlook, bright smile, and ability to make others laugh were truly special. Daniels kindness and radiant energy touched everyone around him. Our lives feel emptier without the light he brought."

Authorities have asked anyone with information about the crash to come forward.
