King Charles and Queen Camilla have shared their 2025 Christmas card, showcasing a photograph taken during their April visit to Italy celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary.
The holiday card, released on Saturday, December 6, captures the royal couple at Villa Wolkonsky in Rome. In the image, Queen Camilla wears a white and beige coat dress designed by Anna Valentine, complemented by a lily of the valley brooch, while King Charles appears in a striped blue suit. Accompanying the photo, the royals wrote, Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year.
The photograph was taken by Chris Jackson and continues a visual theme used by the couple to commemorate their two decades of marriage. Earlier this year, just before their April 9 anniversary, Charles and Camilla shared images at the Neronian spur of the Aqua Claudia, an ancient Roman aqueduct. Their message read, As we begin our first visit to Italy as King and Queen, we are so looking forward to celebrating our twentieth wedding anniversary in such a special place and with such wonderful people! A presto, Roma e Ravenna! The note was signed Charles R. and Camilla R., with the initials representing rex and regina in Latin.
The couple, who married in 2005 following public scrutiny over their previous relationship, held a civil ceremony near Windsor Castle with 28 guests, including their children from previous marriages.
To mark their 20th anniversary, the royal office posted a video on Instagram combining clips from their 2005 wedding, international tours, and various public events, captioned 20 Happy Years! Camilla also spoke to reporters in Rome, reflecting on their marriage, saying, Twenty years, who could believe it was 20 years? What is the secret? I dont know well I suppose it's just sort of friendship, really.
Other royals are celebrating the festive season as well. On December 5, Kate Middleton hosted the annual Together at Christmas carol service with Prince William and their three children. Guests included Zara Tindall and Mike Tindall, Lord Frederick Windsor and Sophie Winkelman with their daughters, and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh.
