Serious injury to pedestrian in Shipley accident

A pedestrian was rushed to hospital with severe injuries after being struck by a vehicle in the Bradford district.

According to police in West Yorkshire, a man in his thirties was hit by a car on Briggate in Shipley at around 5:45pm on Thursday.

Officers confirmed that the driver involved in the incident remained at the scene.

Authorities are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have dashcam recordings from the area at the time to come forward.
