This year's royal Christmas card pays tribute to love

Buckingham Palace unveiled the official 2025 Christmas card of King Charles III and Queen Camilla on Saturday. The card features a photograph taken earlier this year to commemorate the couples 20th wedding anniversary.

The image was captured by royal photographer Chris Jackson in the sunlit gardens of Villa Wolkonsky, the residence of the British ambassador in Rome, during the couples state visit in April 2025. King Charles, 77, is seen wearing a blue pinstripe suit, standing arm-in-arm with Queen Camilla, 78, who wears a white-and-beige coat dress designed by London-based couturier Anna Valentine, accessorized with a brooch.

The cards message reads: Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year. Traditionally, senior members of the British royal family share these cards with family, friends, and colleagues throughout the holiday season. Last years card showed the royal couple in the gardens of Buckingham Palace.

Earlier this year, during their state visit, Charles and Camilla met with the late Pope Francis at the Vatican, where the pontiff extended his congratulations on their anniversary.

Other members of the royal family have also embraced the holiday spirit. The Prince and Princess of Wales attended a carol service at Westminster Abbey on Friday to celebrate love in all its forms, according to Kensington Palace. This marked Princess Catherines fifth Together at Christmas event since 2021. The occasion honored individuals across the UK who have made a positive impact in their communities, bringing people together or offering support to those in need. In a letter to attendees, Catherine noted that Christmas reminds us how deeply our lives are woven together.
