On December 3, Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried attended the New York City premiere of their upcoming film The Housemaid, which is set to release in theaters on December 19. The story follows Millie, played by Sweeney, who becomes a live-in housekeeper for a wealthy couple, Nina (Seyfried) and Andrew (Brandon Sklenar), in an effort to escape her past.

For the premiere, Seyfried, 40, chose a soft pink gown, while 28-year-old Sweeney dazzled in a white sequined dress paired with a boa. Both actresses styled their hair in loose waves, exuding elegance on the red carpet.

Director Paul Feig joined the stars, along with cast members Brandon Sklenar, Indiana Elle, Michele Morrone, Ellen Tamaki, and Megan Ferguson. The event highlighted the excitement surrounding the film ahead of its release.

Recently, Sweeney appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to discuss both The Housemaid and the new season of Euphoria. She expressed her admiration for Seyfried, admitting, "I am completely obsessed with her" and shared her enthusiasm as a longtime fan of Mamma Mia!

The film's trailer teases tension as Nina confronts Millie over missed PTA notes, hinting at the dramatic and suspenseful twists to come. According to the official synopsis, what starts as an ideal employment opportunity escalates into a dangerous and seductive game involving secrets, scandal, and power.
