Dave Coulier from 'Full House' Discloses New Cancer Diagnosis Following Remission of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

Dave Coulier, the actor known for Full House, has shared that he has been diagnosed with a new form of cancer, just months after celebrating remission from non-Hodgkin lymphoma. In a recent interview, Coulier revealed he is facing early-stage tongue cancer, which is unrelated to his previous illness.

I went in for a routine PET scan, and something showed up, he explained during an appearance on the Today show. It turned out to be P16 squamous carcinoma at the base of my tongue. I asked the doctors if it was connected to my lymphoma, and they told me its completely unrelated.

Coulier had publicly announced in November that he was battling stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Earlier this year, he shared the positive news that he was cancer-free following treatment.

After going through chemotherapy and feeling that immense relief, getting news about a different type of cancer is a real shock, he admitted. Coulier emphasized that the prognosis for his current condition is very encouraging, with over a 90% curability rate. Early detection has truly saved my life, both times. I urge everyone to keep up with their regular checkups, colonoscopies, and other screeningsthey can save your life.

The actor acknowledged the emotional impact this has had on his family. Its psychologically exhausting, especially seeing how it affects my wife, Melissa. Thats the hardest part for me, he said.

Despite the challenges, Coulier remains optimistic. Im confident Ill get through this. The silver lining is that my first cancer diagnosis helped me detect this one early. Without that follow-up PET scan, this carcinoma could have progressed dangerously.
