Exclusive: Mondo Unveils Stunning Lord Of The Rings Trilogy Posters Featuring Epic Battles

Nearly 25 years after Peter Jackson's iconic adaptation of The Lord of the Rings, the trilogy continues to captivate audiences, often hailed as one of the greatest cinematic achievements despite its multiple endings. The legacy of the films remains strong, inspiring an ongoing stream of merchandise, particularly in the realm of artistic prints.

Mondo has introduced a fresh series of Lord of the Rings posters, crafted by artist Riccardo Federici. Among them, an exclusive debut of the poster for the second film, The Two Towers, showcases a dramatic battle scene. In this dark and striking artwork, the ancient Ents rise to defend the forests against Saruman's forces and destructive orcs. Treebeard is depicted in the midst of the clash, preparing to hurl a massive boulder, with the ominous Orthanc tower looming in the background.

Collectors will also appreciate the sketch variant of this poster, which reveals the intricate detailing Federici applied to the piece.

Fans of the trilogy can explore the full set of posters, including The Fellowship of the Ring and The Return of the King. Each artwork highlights pivotal moments: Isildur confronting Sauron with Mount Doom ablaze in the background, and Eowyn confronting the Witch King in a climactic duel. These focused depictions allow fans to appreciate key scenes without attempting to capture the entire expansive films.

Each poster is priced at $95, with timed editions available for purchase from Wednesday, December 10 at 11 AM CT to Friday, December 19 at 11 AM CT. The number of prints made will correspond to the number sold during this window.

Bundle options are available: the full trilogy for $270, or the complete set of sketch variants for $300. Bundled posters include matching edition numbers, enhancing their collectible value. Both the color prints and sketch variants are limited, with sketch versions available only while supplies last.

These extraordinary posters can be purchased directly from Mondo's online store, offering fans a chance to own a piece of Middle-earth in vivid artistic form.
