Hollywood Medium Tyler Henry admits to short-term memory issues following emergency brain surgery

Tyler Henry, the psychic medium known for the reality series Hollywood Medium, has shared an update with fans following a recent emergency brain operation. Last month, Henry underwent surgery after doctors detected a recurring cyst and swelling in his brain.

On Tuesday, he took to his Instagram Story to describe his recovery process. Since the operation, Henry has been experiencing difficulties with short-term memory. Happy December! My memory is gradually improving, and Ive documented what I experienced out of body during my brain surgery. Im excited to share it when the moment is right, he wrote.

In another post, he further described his memory struggles. Ive felt like a goldfish for the past two weeks, able to retain only about 10 minutes of short-term memory, he noted alongside a graphic of a goldfish, adding that it is steadily improving.

Earlier in May, Henry underwent surgery to remove a colloid tumor a slow-growing mass that can cause fluid buildup near the center of his brain. He then spent a month on bed rest. I had a colloid tumor near the center of my brain and thankfully most of it has been removed! (The tumor, not my brain that is), he shared at the time. He also referenced a previous emergency brain surgery at age 18 for a congenital cyst, expressing gratitude for his health and support from fans.

Recently, another cyst was discovered, necessitating a third surgery. Henrys husband, Clint Godwin, initially announced the procedure in an Instagram post, explaining that swelling had returned and the surgery was necessary to address the recurring cyst. Godwin later confirmed the operation was successful and that Henry is recovering well, thanking everyone who offered support during the challenging period.
