John Cena, the 17-time WWE World Champion and Hollywood actor, is approaching the conclusion of his professional wrestling journey. In a recent conversation, the DC hero shared his decision to step away from the ring for good, stating, Ill never wrestle again.

Final Days in WWE

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Cena discussed his upcoming retirement from WWE. The Peacemaker star revealed, 23 years of performing in WWE and were down to our last day. He noted that he announced his retirement over a year in advance, which is unprecedented in WWE history. Cena added, WWE superstars dont typically retire; they usually continue for one more match. I am completely finished.

He confirmed that his final WWE appearance will be on December 13 on Peacock, reiterating, Ill never wrestle again. When Kimmel jokingly asked if he might return to the ring, Cena replied, Then youll be able to show this part of the show and call me a liar.

Reflecting on a Legendary Career

Cena emphasized the importance of giving fans ample notice, saying, Performing for two decades and being welcomed into peoples homes week after week, 52 weeks a year, creates a real connection. He shared that touring the world in his final year has been a rewarding experience, allowing him to meet fans and hear their stories.
