Miley Cyrus Shares Her Shock at Maxx Morando's Romantic Proposal

Miley Cyrus recently spoke about the unexpected proposal from Maxx Morando, confessing that she was completely taken by surprise. In an interview on Good Morning America on Wednesday, December 3, the 33-year-old Flowers singer revealed that Morando proposed while they were traveling in Asia.

Im not someone whos easily surprised because I like to control things, but this time, I had no idea, Cyrus said. Honestly, I was completely shocked.

The artist showcased her new 14-karat gold engagement ring, crafted by Jacquie Aiche, and lightheartedly remarked that her 27-year-old fianc did well.

The announcement came shortly after the news emerged that the couple, who met on a blind date in 2021, are officially engaged after four years together. Observant fans noticed something special when the pair appeared at the Avatar: Fire and Ash premiere earlier this week, where Cyrus ring drew plenty of attention.

Cyrus was previously married to Liam Hemsworth from 2018 until 2020.
