Ray J Criticizes Jay-Z & Beyoncé for Refusing to Take Photos with Brandy During Her Tour: 'I Disapprove'

Ray J is standing up for his sister, Brandy. The singer and actor shared his frustrations on social media on Tuesday, December 2, expressing disappointment that Jay-Z and Beyonc attended multiple shows of The Boy Is Mine Tour but did not meet Brandy backstage.

"They should come to the show and acknowledge Brandy as well, Jay-Z and Beyonc," Ray J said. "Were fans, we see you, we love you, and we admire you. But it feels off when you dont stop by."

He added: "You attend every Brandy and Monica concert and never say hi to Brandy or take a photo. That doesnt sit right with me."

Despite the criticism, Ray J emphasized that his respect for the Carters remains strong. He suggested that a simple gesture, like checking in on Brandy during the Los Angeles and Brooklyn shows, would have been appreciated.

"Just walk by Brandys room and say, 'Hey B, enjoy the show.' She didnt even mention this to me, and I feel like I need to speak up. Its unbelievable," he explained.

Ray J clarified that his post comes from a place of love: "This is heartfelt. I adore my family, and I have love for Jay and Bey. Brandy is focused on delivering the best performances and had nothing to do with this message."

Some fans, including NFL legend Terrell Owens, expressed support for Ray J's stance, acknowledging his intentions. Meanwhile, Beyonc shared photos from her appearances at the tour on her official website, including shots with Kelly Rowland, Monica, Solange, and Patti LaBelle.

The Boy Is Mine Tour will continue with upcoming shows in Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, Miami, Jacksonville, and Tampa Bay.
