Netflix continues its stronghold on weekly streaming rankings, and this week, Stranger Things is leading the charge. Returning after a three-year hiatus, the show has placed three different seasons on this weeks top chart.
The launch of the first four episodes of Season 5 drew massive attention, with 3.2 million households tuning in over the Thanksgiving weekend. Impressively, 39% of viewers who watched any part of the season finished all available episodes within the first 48 hours, showing high engagement after a long wait for the final season.
Fans also revisited previous seasons: Season 4 ranks as the sixth most-watched streaming title this week, while Season 1 appears in tenth place as both newcomers and longtime viewers catch up before fully diving into the latest season.
Netflix faced some competition from Paramount+, with the contemporary western Landman reaching second place after a 12-week run at number one. Paramount+ also placed Tulsa King Season 3 in fifth and Mayor of Kingstown Season 4 in ninth on the streaming chart.
Other notable Netflix entries include the drama miniseries The Beast in Me, maintaining third place for its third week, and holiday-themed Champagne Problems in seventh, set in a French vineyard. Ted Danson returns in season two of A Man on the Inside, debuting in eighth place.
On the linear TV side, seasonal programming dominates. The 99th Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade leads, followed by NBCs broadcast of The National Dog Show. Dancing with the Stars airs in third, with CBSs Tracker in fourth. CBS also celebrated Everybody Loves Raymond with a 30th anniversary reunion special, while ABCs Truth and Lies: Who Killed JFK? ranks sixth.
Familiar favorites round out the chart: Wheel of Fortune appears seventh and ninth, Jeopardy! is eighth, and Saturday Night Lives Thanksgiving special closes the top ten.
The weekly rankings are based on data from Samba TVs panel of over 3 million households, offering an exclusive look at the most-watched streaming and linear TV content in the United States.
