Lindsay Lohan aims to pass on her life lessons to 2-year-old son Luai to steer him in a new path

Lindsay Lohan is reflecting on the joys of motherhood and the unique opportunity to influence her sons upbringing. The 39-year-old actress spoke at a panel during The Wellness Oasis Presented by Chase at Art Basel on Tuesday, Dec. 2, discussing the special moments she experiences as a parent to her 2-year-old son, Luai, whom she shares with her husband Bader Shammas.

"Every moment is precious. Being able to share your life with another person, to watch them explore the world youve brought them into, feels liberating," Lohan explained. "I can share my past experiences with my son so he can understand life differently. Im truly thankful for the lessons Ive learned, and now I can help guide him in a new direction."

In addition to speaking about her parenting journey, Lohan recently shared glimpses of family life on Instagram. In August, she posted photos from a visit to Sydney's Taronga Zoo, capturing moments with Luai and her husband as they interacted with giraffes, kangaroos, tigers, and monkeys. Lohan captioned the post, "Such a special day at Taronga Zoo so many beautiful animals and such wonderful caretakers! Thanks for letting us pop in! ."

Earlier, in July, Lohan appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to discuss her sons reaction to seeing her on television. She revealed that although Luai is too young to watch her films, he noticed her during a Good Morning America segment. Lohan recounted, "He saw me on TV and was like, Mommy, come out! Mommy! thinking I was stuck." She added that as he grows more aware, she hopes to guide him gently to avoid confusion.

When asked which of her movies she might eventually show her son, Lohan suggested her 2005 film Herbie: Fully Loaded, saying, "Its fun and full of cars, so it feels like a perfect introduction."
