Travis Kelce transforms into a Christmas Elf for Chiefs' Holiday Ad

Travis Kelce teamed up with the Kansas City Chiefs for a whimsical holiday release, introducing their latest short film, Merry Mischief. In this seasonal claymation, Kelce transforms into an elf, bringing to life a charming character called "Kelce on the Shelfie" for the Chiefs festive campaign.

The video is part of the teams annual Kingdom Christmas celebration and features Kelce in elf form, stirring playful chaos around Arrowhead Stadium while the team is away for a game. Other Chiefs starsincluding Patrick Mahomes, Trent McDuffie, Chris Jones, George Karlaftis, and Xavier Worthyalso appear as claymation characters.

The story is narrated by Kelces mother, Donna Kelce, who opens with: 'Twas the month before Christmas, almost the Thanksgiving game. When the Chiefs found an elf, one that needed a name.' In the short, the elf sports Kelces No. 87 jersey and adopts the name "Kelce on a Shelfie," quickly becoming part of the team. Donna Kelce continues, It was match made in heaven, almost like a dream! The team up and left for they had a game to play, but the elf had big plans while they were away.

The complete short is set to premiere on December 24, 2024, ahead of the Chiefs Christmas Day matchup against the Denver Broncos, marking the teams third consecutive Christmas Day appearance. On December 25, 2024, Kelce and Mahomes are scheduled to play a regular season game against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium.
