Trump isn't a Taylor Swift fan, but she was one of Karoline Leavitt's top Spotify artists

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt has shown that President Donald Trumps ongoing tension with Taylor Swift doesnt affect her personal music tastes. Despite Trumps well-known disapproval of the pop icon, Swift ranked among Leavitts top five most-streamed artists on Spotify this year.

On Wednesday, 28-year-old Leavitt revealed her 2025 Spotify Wrapped on Instagram Story, showcasing her favorite artists. Leading her playlist was country singer Morgan Wallen, followed by Christian artists Forrest Frank, Brandon Lake, and Anne Wilson. Taylor Swift completed her top five.

Leavitt is not the only member of Trumps family to appreciate Swifts music. His 14-year-old granddaughter, Arabella, is known to be a dedicated fan. In July 2024, Arabella celebrated her 13th birthday with a Swift-themed cake, featuring lyrics from the singers 2014 hit Blank Space. Ivanka Trump shared photos of the celebration on Instagram, highlighting her daughters enthusiasm for Swift.

Later in 2024, Ivanka and Arabella attended Swifts Eras Tour concert in Miami, Florida, just weeks after Trump publicly criticized the singer. Though Trump has previously complimented Swifts talent and presence, his opinion soured following her endorsement of Kamala Harris in the presidential race.

Taylor Swift expressed her political support on Instagram, explaining her choice to vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 election, citing their advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF access, and womens reproductive rights. Following Swifts announcement, Trump openly declared his dislike for her on social media, doubling down on his criticism months later.
