NFL Injury Report: Keeping Up with the Latest Updates for Mike Evans, Jayden Daniels, Justin Herbert, and More for Fantasy Football in Week 14

The fantasy football regular season is reaching its final stretch, and Week 14 could be decisive for many leagues. As teams prepare for another important slate of games, injuries continue to shape lineups and strategies. Below is a detailed look at key player updates that could impact fantasy decisions.

Mike Evans WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (clavicle, IR)

Evans is still officially on injured reserve, but Tampa Bay opened his practice window on Wednesday, signaling that his recovery is ahead of schedule. The Buccaneers now have three weeks to activate him or else his season will come to an end. While expecting him to play this week may be optimistic, his possible return later in the season is very encouraging for fantasy managers heading into the playoffs. Even though his streak of 1,000-yard seasons has been snapped, Evans would still be a central figure in the offense once he is cleared.

Jayden Daniels QB, Washington Commanders (elbow)

Daniels could make his return in Week 14 against Minnesota after missing three straight games with a dislocated left (non-throwing) elbow. Washington has dropped seven consecutive games and is close to playoff elimination, but Daniels is reportedly eager to get back on the field. He was listed as a limited participant in Wednesdays practice. If he is unable to go, Marcus Mariota would likely start again.

Justin Herbert QB, Los Angeles Chargers (hand)

Herbert fractured his non-throwing hand in Week 13 against the Raiders and has already undergone successful surgery. Despite the injury, he has expressed interest in playing in Week 14s Monday night matchup. He will have roughly a week to recover, so his practice participation will be closely monitored. He did not practice on Wednesday, leaving his status uncertain for fantasy purposes.

Omarion Hampton RB, Los Angeles Chargers (ankle)

Hamptons return window from injured reserve opened last week, and while he did not suit up in Week 13, there is growing optimism he could return for the Week 14 game against Philadelphia. If active, he is expected to lead the backfield, with Kimani Vidal working in a secondary role.

Trey Benson RB, Arizona Cardinals (knee)

Benson is now eligible to come off injured reserve and spent last week limited in practice before being ruled out. He did not practice on Wednesday, so his availability for Sundays matchup with the Rams remains unclear. With Arizona no longer in playoff contention, the team has little incentive to rush him back. Bam Knight and Michael Carter remain factors in the backfield rotation.

Alvin Kamara RB, New Orleans Saints (knee)

Kamara missed the Week 13 loss to Miami. In his absence, rookie Devin Neal recorded 14 carries for 47 yards and added three receptions for 22 yards. Kamara has a chance to return against Tampa Bay in Week 14, but he was again absent from Wednesdays practice. Considering New Orleans situation in the standings, Neal is likely to stay involved even if Kamara is cleared.

Aaron Jones Sr. RB, Minnesota Vikings (shoulder)

Jones exited the game against Seattle and was unable to return, finishing with only 25 yards on 10 touches. He has dealt with multiple injuries this season and is approaching his 31st birthday. If he cannot play, Jordan Mason could take over as the primary back. With favorable matchups ahead for Minnesota, Mason could be a valuable pickup in shallower fantasy leagues.

Amon-Ra St. Brown WR, Detroit Lions (ankle)

St. Brown exited early in Detroits Thanksgiving loss to Green Bay and did not return. Head coach Dan Campbell indicated he could miss at least one game. After sitting out practices on Tuesday and Wednesday, he is officially listed as questionable for Thursday nights contest against Dallas. If he cannot play, rookie Isaac TeSlaa could see a significant boost in snaps, while Jameson Williams is expected to lead the receiving group after posting a monster performance in Week 13.

Drake London WR, Atlanta Falcons (knee)

London has been sidelined for two straight games due to a PCL injury. He may have a chance to return in Week 14, though Atlanta has little left to play for and rookie quarterback Michael Penix Jr. is already ruled out for the season. London did not practice on Wednesday, making his availability uncertain. Even if he suits up, expectations should be tempered with Kirk Cousins under center.

Tee Higgins WR, Cincinnati Bengals (concussion)

Higgins missed the Week 13 win over Baltimore while in concussion protocol. He practiced in a limited capacity on Wednesday and still has time to be cleared for Sundays matchup with Buffalo. If he returns, Cincinnatis offense would be at its healthiest point in weeks. His fantasy outlook improves significantly with Joe Burrow back under center.

Dalton Kincaid TE, Buffalo Bills (hamstring/knee)

Kincaid sat out his third consecutive game in Week 13, and a knee issue has now been added to his injury report. His potential return in Week 14 carries major fantasy implications, especially with Buffalo lacking dependable pass-catching options. The matchup against Cincinnati, who have struggled defensively against tight ends, further boosts his upside if he is able to play.
