Updates on Injuries to Packers Players Javon Bullard, Jayden Reed, Matthew Golden, and Savion Williams

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur shared the latest on player injuries ahead of Friday's practice, the team's final preparation before facing the Chicago Bears in Week 14.

The updates covered several key players: defensive back Javon Bullard, cornerback Nate Hobbs, and wide receivers Jayden Reed, Matthew Golden, and Savion Williams.

Javon Bullard

Slot corner Javon Bullard did not participate in Thursday's practice due to lingering effects from an ankle injury. LaFleur explained, "We felt it was best to hold him out and monitor his progress through the week." Bullard will not practice on Friday, but his availability for Sunday's game remains uncertain.

Nate Hobbs

Hobbs, sidelined for four consecutive games with a knee injury, is showing progress. LaFleur noted, "He's looked good, but we'll evaluate his performance in practice today." The team may rely on Hobbs if Bullard is unavailable, as he has experience in the slot position.

Jayden Reed

Wide receiver Jayden Reed, out since Week 2 with a broken collarbone, could return this week. LaFleur stated, "I hope so, but we're still ensuring he's medically cleared." The team may require one final scan to confirm the collarbone's readiness, and Reed must be activated from injured reserve by Saturday to be eligible for Sunday.

Matthew Golden

Golden, who missed the last two games due to a wrist injury, has been active in practice. LaFleur said, "He's catching balls well, but his status will remain questionable until game time." The first-round receiver's participation will be decided closer to the matchup.

Savion Williams

Williams continues to deal with a persistent foot issue. LaFleur remarked, "It's not a setback, more a matter of managing it for the long term." Williams is expected to be listed as unavailable on Friday's final injury report.
