The arrest occurred on November 27, when authorities responded to reports that Ray J had pulled a gun on Princess Love during a public livestream argument. According to reports, he was booked at a Los Angeles jail for a criminal threat charge, with bail set at $50,000. Ray J was released later the same day.
The Livestream Incident
The viral video shows the former couple in a dispute over allegations that Love or her relatives intended to drive under the influence. During the argument, Ray J is seen confronting Love about the situation, saying, Drive drunk, Princess. Princess Love responds while holding their child, claiming, Ray, you just pointed a gun, to which Ray J replies, Drive drunk, Princess. Go head. You wanna take my kids? You and yo drunk cousin?
The argument escalates as both parents exchange accusations. Ray J reportedly refers to Love and her relatives as alcoholics, while Love denies driving and points out the alleged threat, saying, Im not driving! You just pointed a gun at us. Ray J denies aiming the weapon at them. Love also labels him a woman abuser and states she contacted law enforcement. In response, Ray J reportedly threatens the police.
The video begins with Ray J expressing his frustration, stating he was having the worst Thanksgiving in the world. At one point, he appears to hold a gun while issuing a threat to anyone approaching the house.
