Mila Kunis Opens Up About Leading Her Neighborhood HOA and Handling Local Complaints

Mila Kunis recently shared a surprising detail about her personal life during an interview with The Wall Street Journal. The actress, known for her roles in television and film, revealed that she is the head of her neighborhood's homeowners association (HOA) in Los Angeles. In this role, she is the person her neighbors turn to when they have issues regarding community matters such as trash, noise, or road conditions.

Im the head of the homeowners association in our neighborhood. I take the complaints, Kunis explained. If theres an issue with someone's trash or a noise complaint, Im the one you talk to. She went on to describe how her celebrity status is no longer a novelty for the residents, as many of them are accustomed to living in a city filled with famous figures.

The role also involves handling mundane community problems. Kunis mentioned how one of the more amusing aspects of her job is addressing everyday maintenance issues, such as when a road starts to erode. "I have to call someone to inspect the road, and when they arrive, they cant help but laugh," she recalled. "But I ask, Can you please provide a quote for the repairs?" Despite the humor in the situation, Kunis takes her responsibilities seriously.

In addition to her HOA duties, the 42-year-old actress gave a glimpse into her laid-back home life with her husband, Ashton Kutcher, and their two children, Wyatt, 11, and Dimitri, 8. She shared that her daily routine is fairly relaxed. I wake up at 6:15 every morning, turn off my alarm, and get the kids their breakfast and lunch. Ashton then takes them to the bus. Its all very easy-going, Kunis revealed. She also mentioned her efforts to squeeze in a workout, though sometimes, she doesnt even have time for a shower. "I just wipe my armpits sometimes," she joked, adding, Dont judge me.

Kunis and Kutcher, who married in 2015, previously gave a tour of their custom-built six-acre home, KuKu Farms, in Beverly Hills. The couple spent five years designing the property to feel like a home rather than an extravagant estate. "We wanted it to look like an old barn that had been converted into a house, but with a modern twist, Kutcher explained during a 2021 interview with Architectural Digest.

While the couple embraces sustainable farming at their rural property, they didnt shy away from adding some luxurious touches. One of the bathrooms features ornate throne-style chairs, commissioned by Kutcher during a trip to India, while the entertainment barn is highlighted by an impressive 10-foot crystal chandelier. Despite these lavish details, Kutcher emphasized that their home provides a sense of tranquility and a place where he feels that everything in life makes sense.
