Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu from 'Charlie's Angels' Reunite in Matching Outfits

During a recent episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu reminded fans that their bond is as strong as ever. The pair, known for starring together in Charlie's Angels, delighted the audience on Friday when they appeared in identical tan suits, creating an unexpected and charming twinning moment.

The crowd erupted with excitement as Liu currently on a press tour for her new film Rosemead walked out wearing the same suit, complete with a matching tie and platform heels. Barrymore greeted her longtime friend with a warm, extended hug. Liu finished her ensemble with understated makeup and sleek, straight hair.

"Yes, we are in the same outfit, because that's how we roll," Barrymore told the audience, adding that they represent two-thirds of the elite crime-fighting team.

Before discussing Lius performance in Rosemead, Barrymore mentioned that their fellow angel Cameron Diaz is busy filming a new movie in New Jersey, but the trio plans to spend time together over the weekend. They also hinted that Demi Moore who portrayed the antagonist in Charlies Angels: Full Throttle might join them.

In a clip shared on Instagram, Barrymore mentioned that Diaz is enjoying the filming process and loving her wardrobe, joking about how uncomfortable costumes can sometimes be. Liu quickly replied, Thats why we are matching.

In Rosemead, Liu takes on the role of Irene, a Chinese mother who discovers her teenage sons troubling violent interests and must fiercely protect both him and those around him. The film is inspired by a true story, based on a 2017 Los Angeles Times column by Frank Shyong.

Liu shared that the project fills a gap in representation, saying, This film doesnt exist in our community, and it doesnt exist in our lexicon. We wanted to make something for people who feel marginalized, so they can feel seen and less alone.

Rosemead debuted in select New York City theaters on Friday and will expand to Los Angeles theaters on Dec. 12. A nationwide release is scheduled for Jan. 9.

The Drew Barrymore Show airs weekdays at 9 a.m. ET and is available for streaming on Paramount+ and fuboTV.
