Dog walker injured in park attack late at night

A man walking his dog sustained a chest wound after an attack in a Plymouth park, according to police reports.

Devon and Cornwall Police responded to reports of a violent incident at Yealmpstone Park in the Plympton area around 23:30 GMT on 26 November. Authorities stated that the victim was approached by two unidentified men, leading to a confrontation that resulted in an injury requiring hospital care.

The cause of the wound remains unclear, police said. The injured man has since been released from the hospital.

Investigators are asking anyone with information or relevant CCTV footage to come forward.

Police described the suspects as white males, likely in their late teens or early twenties, who fled toward Maddock Close following the incident. One suspect is approximately 5ft 9in (1.75m) tall, of slim to medium build, with short mousy brown hair, and was reportedly wearing a navy blue Adidas tracksuit. The second suspect is slightly taller with a broader build, darker brown hair, stubble, and wearing jeans.
