Man accused of committing nearly 40 child sexual offences

A 38-year-old man from Kent, Mark South, has been formally charged with 38 counts of sexual offences against children, reportedly involving nine victims. The allegations include four instances of rape, as well as producing and sharing indecent images of minors and blackmail.

Authorities have also accused him of engaging in sexual conversations with a child, encouraging a child to participate in sexual activity, and promoting child prostitution.

Wiltshire Police reported that the alleged crimes occurred over a period of nearly four years, beginning in January 2021. Mark South is scheduled to appear in Swindon Magistrates Court in the near future.
