Trump Criticizes CNN's Kaitlan Collins in Another Social Media Outburst

President Donald Trump launched a sharp attack on CNN's White House Correspondent Kaitlan Collins during a Saturday morning post on Truth Social, defending the escalating expenses of his 90,000-square-foot ballroom.

Trump wrote, Caitlan Collins of Fake News CNN, always Stupid and Nasty, asked me why the new Ballroom was costing more money than initially projected a year ago. I explained it is going to be twice the size, and the quality of finishes and interiors has been upgraded to the highest standard.

Collins recently reported that the ballrooms budget has increased and that a new architect has been assigned after disagreements between Trump and the original designer. While the administration insists the project remains under budget and funded by private donors, including Apple, Amazon, and Meta, questions linger about the specifics of these contributions and what the donors receive in return.

In his post, Trump added, FAKE NEWS CNN, and the person running that corrupt operation, is among the worst in the industry. Their ratings are so low they barely matter anymore. MAGA!!!

This attack on Collins continues Trumps trend of targeting media figures, particularly female journalists. Previously, he insulted Katie Rogers of the New York Times regarding a story on his health and aging, and directed a famous remark at Bloombergs White House correspondent Catherine Lucey, telling her, Quiet, piggy, after she questioned him about Jeffrey Epstein documents. The White House defended Trumps comments, claiming the reporter acted unprofessionally toward colleagues.
