Abby Lee Miller clarifies the use of airbrushing on Neil Patrick Harris' face on Instagram

Neil Patrick Harris was surprised to find that Abby Lee Miller had altered his appearance on social media. The actor, best known for his role in "How I Met Your Mother," called out Miller after she shared photos from the new Broadway show "Art" on Instagram on December 1. Among the less-edited photos featuring James Corden and Bobby Cannavale, there was an odd image of Miller pointing to Harris, who was smiling at the camera. Both of their faces appeared unnaturally smooth, free of wrinkles and blemishes, giving them a nearly flawless, airbrushed appearance.

Fans, as well as Harris, were confused by the photo. One fan humorously commented, "She was trying to take you back to those Doogie Howser years!" referencing Harris role as a teenage doctor on the 1990s sitcom. Another joked, "Youve been victimized by facetune." Harris, 52, simply responded, "Ummm what did you do to my face?"

The following day, Miller, 60, clarified that she had applied the filter to the photo for her own Instagram account, sharing her experience with cancer. In 2018, after serving time in prison, Miller was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma, a rare and aggressive form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. She underwent surgery and chemotherapy, later announcing in 2019 that she was cancer-free.

Meanwhile, Miller had glowing words about the Broadway show, Art, commenting, If you truly want to LAUGH OUT LOUD!!! Then go see @artonbway, praising the performers timing as impeccable and their personalities as gracious and kind. The play, which opened in September, is the first Broadway revival of Yasmina Rezas French comedy, following its original run in 1998.
